Last Sunday marked the 10-year anniversary of Snoop Dogg’s seventh studio album, R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece. A slew of thinkpieces and retrospectives about the album did not flood the Internet, and for good reason. The album doesn’t live up to its lofty subtitle, few albums spanning 20 tracks, 77 minutes, with clunkers like "Fresh Pair of Panties On" should be considered masterpieces. There also wasn’t much fanfare this past Thursday for the eighth anniversary of Snoop’s Tha Blue Carpet Treatment either.
