The adventures of Super WHY! take place in Storybrook Village, a magical three-dimensional world tucked behind library shelves, where kids' favourite fairytale characters live, including four best friends: Red Riding Hood, The Littlest Pig, Princess Pea and Whyatt Beanstalk, the younger brother of Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk.

In every episode, a problem arises in Storybrook Village. To solve the problem, Whyatt calls his fairytale friends to the Book Club, where they transform into SUPER READERS and fly into a book to find the answer to their question, solve the problem and save the day.

Inside the book, Super Why and the Super Readers, including Super You, the viewer, go on a reading adventure. Using the "Power to Read", they talk to characters from the story, play reading games and activities to overcome obstacles, and even change the ending of stories!

As Super Readers, they experience books as never before, and use special reading powers, including alphabet, spelling, vocabulary and comprehension skills. The Super Readers use their skills to decode the Super Story Answer, or theme, of the episode and solve the problem. Hip hip hurray, the Super Readers save the day! less
