Dungeons & Drogans 2: Session 27

The Drogans, having procured all four items needed for the mysterious ritual they had to perform for no apparent reason, returned to the Proving Grounds in the Well of Demons. They divided themselves into the four corners of the area in order to simultaneously place the sacred objects onto the magic circles, with Coltaine standing in the center of the Proving Grounds, by the pit, in order to coordinate the ritual.

Once the objects were placed in the circles, the Proving Grounds came to life: a series of traps assaulted the Drogans, and a battle-scared, green dragon emerged from the central pit.

As the Drogans regrouped, they noticed the last unexplored set of doors slowly opening, but as they made for them, they found the Dragon lying in wait, guarding the doorway.

After an arduous battle that saw Coltaine fall in combat not once, but twice, the Drogans overcame their draconic foe and overcame the test of the Proving Grounds. However, this victory was not without casualties: the Drogans found their friend Massimo had not survived the ordeal.
